Boundaries this system must stay within

A safe system

Must respect individual personhood
This includes respecting others. Respect all others, other nationalities, other race, other genders, followers of other beliefs
Must reject violence as much as possible

Should not have to say this but: A system that is not a cult

No isolating ourselves or separating ourselves from the rest of the world.
No cutting off of other religions
Attending and exploring other faiths is a good thing.
No blanket rule saying children can never attend their friend's service.
No manner of dress, secret language, vocabulary, or understanding will identify who is inside the group.

NO Divine Revelation

All concepts, words, ideas of Soul Work Theology are human derived. No burning bush.
As such they should be publicly accessible
The concepts, words and language must be explainable and shareable to anyone
No private language or special meanings that 'outsiders' just don't understand

A system that works with existing systems

Marriage, family and community is very important.
This belief system is to work within existing structures.
Soul Work Theology is to help people live in the life situation they find themselves in.
It is not to make people a target by converting them to some kind of revolutionary.
No seeking to force society to conform the desires of this group.
If this theology works well enough that larger groups of society choose to incorporate parts of this Theology. That is OK. But society is to be in control of that choice, not this group.

This system will not turn people into pretzels.

Asking them to do, think or be things that will put them at odds with themselves
Since there is no divine support for these beliefs, you don't have to follow them.
Anything that does not feel right, probably is not right. So do not do it.

A system that supports ethics without resorting to "because It/He/She/God/The Church says so"

The morals and ethics derived from Soul Work theology should make sense in and of themselves.
