Genesis of the Insatiable Mind - Chapter 1

or What went wrong?

At some point early humans learned too much too fast. The turning point may have been when humans learned to cook their food.

Cooking improved digestion, which flooded their bodies with nutrients. Nutrientes that litterally went to to their heads.

The brain supporting this early developing personhood/ego grew way too fast. It grew faster than the rest of the body.

This developing mind outgrew what its body could do. They outgrew their ability to construct their own personhood and constructed ways to stimuate their mind beyond their own body sensations.
They developed a hunger for stimuation beyond what its body could provide. The brain developed brain chemestry to drive this hunger and reward its fulfillment.

Humans fell in love with and became more or less addicted to the sensation of feeding this hungry mind.

Thus much of what humans have devised since has been a way to satisfy their mind's love for stimuation.

Humans are littering consuming their planet, plants, animals, minerals, energy, and to some extent even their fellow humans to feed their mind's love for stimuation.
