I made up a word for this. Its something between intuition and memory. Or its Memory with extra meaning.
Memtuition takes sentiences one step further. We already have the grouping of sensations into packages with meaning. Now this next step is remembering previous interactions with locations, time and others.
How does a pet know where food is, water is, the good sleeping spot is. They do not dream up and design all of these spots from their imagination. They remember what happed in this spot or with this other creature from previous times.
Just like instinct is a way of remembering from generation to generation. This Intuition is a type of memory. What happened in this place before. What happened with this other creature before. What happened at this time before.
It is a location based memory. I slept here before. I ate here before.
Yet it is more than location based memory. It also includes location based emotions. Was I safe here? Was I threatened here?
It also covers creature based emotions. Is this other friendly to me? Is this other hostile to me?
It also covers time based knowledge. This is knowing that it is morning, evening, night. Knowing when to hunt and when to sleep. When it is hot and when it is cool. There is more food at certain seasons.
Its a way of encoding meaning into places, beings and times. And retreiving that meaning when in the same place, with the same other being, and at the same time.
It is the ability to know their way around a territory. But not map a litteral way. They can remember where they are in relation to other places they remember and how they got from one place to another. But they can not extrapolate what they know into what must be. They can explore new ways. But they can not predict that this way should get me to x.
