Wealth enables choices. To some extent wealth enables a healthier, happier life. A life that is likely to produce a healthier soul But only to a point. Weath past a certain point does nothing to produce a healthier soul. In fact too-much wealth, and the choices power it enables, can corrupt a soul.
Therefore the goal should be to have enough. But not too much.
Since all life has to get along well enough to survive the next great gulf. It is important to avoid super-rich that live lives untouchable by the poor.
Excess wealth should be funneled into the community Funding infrastructure, health care, education, basic servers, that enrich all Excess wealth can be poured into the land, parks, water, buildings so that there is natural and man-made space and beauty to enrich all.
