Sermon 1 written on Sept 10, 2009, 3465 Boudinot Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45211, 2nd floor bedroom/library/computer room.
The question is what happens at the end. When the universe has died. When there is no physical matter left to live on. What happens when all of matter has died
When the collective of all souls looks into the black abyss of nothingness
Will the collective persevere? Will it have the will to live, the desire to continue To hang on, until the next universe is far enough along that life can begin again.
For that to happen the collective has to have certain characteristics. If different parts of the collective think they are right and others are wrong. That they should make it through and others should not That they have earned the right and others have not That all that matters is power and being in control. If these are predominate, the collective surely will not make it And life as we know it will end.
Therefore it is our purpose to so cultivate these qualities in ourselves That we can hope to tip the balance That the collective will have just enough good qualities Just enough friendliness Just enough tolerance Just enough acceptance That the collective can bond and hold together A make it to plant the seed of life into the next universe.
Such a commitment will take belief, Will take faith. Belief, faith that life itself is a good thing. That there is beauty and wonder in it. That it has qualities that are worth preserving. Without such faith, life will not last.
Therefore it falls to us to process the evil in our own hearts. To seek peace instead of war To resolve conflicts instead of escalating them To seek the good of all over the ego of one when ever we can.
We do these things to seek to flavor the collective with the same That the collective may have what it needs to pass the test At the end of time.
