All life is part of a web.
There is the Spirit watching it.
There is the Parents that passed things down
There is the environment and others around it.
Thus when one reaches an awareness of 'me'.
Everything in the web becomes aware of the 'me'.
The Egregore, or Spirit, the will to live, becomes aware of its 'me' just as much as the lifeform does.
The consciousness will have the stability and continuance of the web as a whole.
Thus the awareness of 'me'
is the awareness of 'me' within other 'me's
In a sense, consciousness emerges with and is entangled in community,
or at least a network or web of life.
