Life, the will to Live - Chapter 3

The basis of Evolution

Once an Egregore had been built up,
The initial lifeform had someone watching it.
This created a 'pressure' on the lifeform.

This initial level of Life already had the drive to grow, to reproduce. To make more of itself.
But now the pressure of being observed, motivated it to change.
Change something in the next generation and see what happens.

This created the fundamental rule of life
that the act of observation inflicts a change on the observed.

Often these changes don't work.
But sometimes they do.
Sometimes they bring a new ability or advantage, and the lifeform evolves.

Thus, this inital interaction
of a egregora of the surviving will to live
and the lifeform that it observes
drives evolution.
