This physical universe will not always support life.
At some point this universe will decay enough
that it will no longer support life.
This has happened before and will happen again.
The death and rebirth of the universe is part of a larger cycle.
That being the case, there will be a long period between
the point where one universe no longer supports life
and where the next universe can start to support life.
The Ocean of life knows this.
It knows it has to bulk up.
Like an animal preparing to hibernate.
So that it can last through the long gap between one universe and the next.
All the soul energy that exists will have to huddle together
and keep themselves going to survive through this long winter.
This means a couple of things.
First, it increases the drive for Life to live as much as it can
and to grow as much new life as it can, for as long as it can.
Second, it stresses the need for all the soul energies to get along.
They have to all live together to make it through the dark time.
Application:
The desire to spread life from the bottom of the sea,
to the top of the mountain
and out to the stars
is a divine mandate to grow and sustain as much life as possible.
